Many people I don't think realize that the mafia is still around and strong too. Many crime families across the country have gone defunct such as those in New Orleans, Dallas, Pittston, Seattle, Rochester, Denver and San Jose. Others are just barely hanging like Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh and San Francisco and still others are signifigantly smaller than they use to be like St.Louis, Cleveland and Chicago. But that doesnt mean they aren't still there and doing what they have always done.
