The next time you complain about how cramped your apartment is, have a thought for high-rise dwellers in Hong Kong. Captured by German photographer Michael Wolf, it’s hard to imagine that photo shop wasn’t used on these images, but it’s true: ‘Wolf crops the sky and land out of his shot to create a natural illusion of unlimited size that captures the experience of being in a megacity’. Wolf has lived in Hong Kong for 20 years and has witnessed it ‘drastically evolve’, so he has also captured images of what it used to look like before high-rise apartment buildings took precedence.
