Man Almost Died After Eating Canned Beets: Herbal Remedies To Cure Botulism (Video).

In 2011 a man in Mississippi almost died after eating canned beets. This man developed Botulism from store bought canned beets and has been in and out of the hospital for two years. After reading this news I became very skeptical of eating anything canned at all. I rarely eat fruits or vegetables canned because their are no healthy enzymes left in canned foods but occasionally I will use canned tomatoes bought from the grocery store in my spaghetti.
