Mykhailo Koval said Ukrainian forces completed their assigned missions in the southern and western parts of Donetsk region and the northern parts of Luhansk. He added that Kiev will push ahead with its offensive against pro-Russian gunmen in the east until normal life is restored there. Earlier, Ukrainian forces resumed their shelling of the eastern city of Slavyansk. Local residents said a children's hospital and a clinic in the city center came under fire, but there were no reports of injuries.
