Sabotage In The Pentagon: Military Avoids FOIA Requests With "Broken" Fax Machine video and picture

Is Pentagon using the old "broken fax machine" excuse to delay Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) requests?  It seems that the fax machine handling FOIA requests at the Pentagon is "broken" and won't be replaced untl October.

Kinda funnty that a multi-billion dollar agency can't scrape a few bucks together for a fax machine.  Given the latest mass shooting at the Naval Shipyard, it is mighty convenient that the machine just breaks down.

Until recently, the most efficient method for making FOIA requests to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) was via fax. It was speedy and reliable, unlike snail mail and the registration-required web portal. About two weeks ago, MuckRock reports, the fax machine stopped working and won't be back up any time soon. "We would hope that it is back up sometime in October, but could extend into November," a spokesman said. MOREHERE
