If you can't get such a number after exhausting all summations, then the date is not "occult". For example, for 20.06.2014 add 2+0+0+6+2+0+1+4=14 and then the next sum is 1+4=5 so the date is not "occult" in the above sense; for 15.10.2013 add 1+5+1+0+2+0+1+3=13 so the date is "occult" and you stop; for 19.09.2013 add 1+9+0+9+2+0+1+3=25 and then the next sum is 2+5=7 so the date is "occult"; for 29.12.1996 add 2+9+1+2+1+9+9+6=39 and then the next sum is 3+9=12 and the final sum is 1+2=3 so the number is "occult"; etc. Note that, since the base-10 numeral system is used, you can obtain the above sums faster by disregarding all instances where figure 9 occurs.
