Prepper News 3/1/14

We stumbled across a different idea for an improvised water filter. Basically, a piece of fresh pine limb is fitted into the end of a hose and clamped in place. Water is then gravity-fed through the wood fiber which removes most contaminates. This is potentially an easier and more portable filtration device than a sand/charcoal bucket filter and certainly deserves a second look.
