Report: Syrian Rebels Obtained Nerve Gas Weapons Months Ago

A report via the Turkish Weekly in June of 2013 outlines how Russia called for further information on Syrian rebels transporting a canister of lethal Sarin gas that Russian authorities feared might be used to push an international action against the Syrian government. The question that now must be asked, is where did those Syrian rebels obtain this deadly nerve gas, and why has the Obama administration said NOTHING about it as it now calls for a military strike against the Assad regime? (The distrust of the Obama administration is at an all time high throughout the Middle East) (via Turkish Weekly) ___________________________________________ Russia asks Turkey for info on sarin terrorists Russia has called on Turkey to share its findings in the case of Syrian rebels who were seized on the Turkish-Syrian border with a 2kg cylinder full of nerve gas sarin. Russia’s top foreign official Sergei Lavrov tolday said the Kremlin wanted to get clear on the issue of chemical weapons used in Syria, since the allegation had taken on the role of a trading card in the conflict, becoming a focus of constant provocations.
