The New Madrid earthquake fault has been twitching and shaking in small pre-shocks for the last century. A twitch here, a tremor there--nothing serious yet. Yet. Sensitive people believe that the Midwest is living on a time bomb, and they are really scared that this time bomb will explode in our lifetime.
