Boehner Returns Fire in Obamacare Fight - Demands Senate Approve 1-Year Delay in Implementation … Or Else

WND The Republican-led House of Representatives has announced it will vote Saturday to require a one-year delay in implementing Obamacare before approving any raise in the federal debt ceiling. Furthermore, House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, and his allies announced, the House will also add an amendment to the Senate-passed continuing resolution for funding the federal government, or CR, that would permanently repeal Obamacare’s medical device tax. Republican leadership also plans to vote on a measure to ensure continued funding of U.S. troops, regardless of whether or not the federal government faces a budget “shutdown.” “The American people don’t want a government shutdown, and they don’t want ObamaCare,” reads a joint statement from Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., and GOP Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash.
