The central bank of China has warned all of its financial institutions NOT to trade in bitcoins due to the threat of money laundering though not concerned about it being a threat to it's own financial system. Despite warning its banks to stay away from bitcoin, China says that its citizens are more than welcome to continue using bitcoin so long as they themselves take on the risk. Video report below.
