The founder of Wikileaks criticized President Barack Obama for his “extremism” in a matter of national security and warned that the sentence established by the military judge sets a “dangerous precedent” because for the first time the disclosure of true information to the media has been labeled as “spying” only because the revelations refer to the US government’s illegal activities. Assange did not confirm or deny whether Manning had provided classified documents to Wikileaks, always using the word “alleged” when referring to the leak.
