(N.Morgan) To honor and remember those who were lost during WWI Paul Cummins, an artist captured the feelings with a blood red poppy display, that makes it appear blood is running out of the Tower Of London. Such a display could be considered distasteful, but I think it is very thoughtful and endearing, to remember each life lost. A sea of blood-red ceramic poppies flows out of the Tower of London and into the dry moat – one flower to represent every life lost. The installation, to be officially unveiled tomorrow, has been created to mark 100 years since the day Britain went to war with Germany in 1914.
