Massive Fire Rips Through NY Warehouse Destroying 4 Million Boxes Of City Records (Video)

(N.Morgan) A massive fire started around 6:30 AM on Saturday at the Williamsburg warehouse near the East River in Brooklyn New York. Firefighters fought the blaze for over 8 hours in the effort of putting out the flames. 4 million boxes of government records were destroyed, including records for the city's public hospitals, New York State courts and the Administration for Children's Services. Singed records could be seen blowing in the wind and were turning up blocks away.
