by Daniel John Lee 1/26/14 At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the war of words between Japan and China rose to a fevered pitch. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe remarked that Japan and China were in the same position as England and Germany just before the outbreak of World War I. Abe also cited the huge amount of money China has spent on its military as another very worrying concern. In a related story, China is now warning foreign planes not to enter its self-declared air defense zone over the East China Sea.
