A blast at a chemical plant in southern China has led to six people being injured. Authorities have said that the explosion, the second to hit the factory in 20 months, has not caused a chemical leak. Monday 6 April. The plant produces the toxic chemical paraxylene, or PX, which is used for making fibres and plastics.
