St. Patrick’s Day aurora brings lights south

After a long night of St. Patty's partying, you might have thought that you just imagined the green streaks in the sky, but you didn't! The lights were courtesy of a rare atmospheric event that helped make the aurora borealis visible as far south as Michigan, as well as in some parts of Europe and Asia.
