AG Eric Holder is preparing for federal takeoveer of police departments such as the one in Ferguson, MO. Continued real and perceived violations of civil rights and human rights have given the feds an excuse to nationalize local police departments, even as the Department of Defense continues arming small town cops with military grade armored personnel vehicles and weapons. In a vast perversion of what has been marketed as a "War On Crime", we see that this movement has become a toxic, twisted war on people, especiallly poor people and people of color. From "Stop and Frisk" to the War on Drugs, the peoples' right to be safe and secure in their persons and homes has been watered down and diluted by the War on Drugs/Poor People.
