More unrest in St. Louis overnight, this time after a St. Louis Police Officer shot and killed an 18 year-old black teen who had opened fire and “shot at the police officer at least three times.” The off-duty officer was working security in a neighborhood when the incident took place. After being shot at, the officer returned fire, killing the 18 year-old black male. The predictable knee-jerk response of protesters was violent, with them hitting and kicking police cars and hurling insults at the officers. If that suspect shot at the officer, then the officer had EVERY RIGHT to defend himself.
