Southern California Weather Central.com – This forecast was made back on August 15th for this event! SCWC High Surf Warning has been issued for Tropical Storm Norbert that generate a strong southerly swell into Southern California that will up the high surf once again across the region with 20 foot waves being possible in the favored south facing beach locations. Norbert will also bring dynamics for shower and thunderstorm activity into the region with a possible landfall, which hasn’t happened in our lifetimes. The forecast for Sept/Oct/Nov across Southern California is for above average precipitation.
