First Fall Arctic Blast To Hit Northern US Tier States Late This Next Week

Click For Larger Source Weather Alert Central.com – Hurricane Norbert will move into the Southwestern United States by Monday into Tuesday, and provide some interesting impacts in the form of bringing an Arctic Air Mass down into the Northern Tier of the United States, with shots of snow as well for some and widespread freeze/frost being likely by later this next week, the 7-Day period. Consistency in the track of Hurricane Norbert has led me to issue this forecast for the first frost/freeze in many areas of the Northern Plains, Midwest, Great Lakes States, and the Northeastern United States. As Norbert moves inland, the surface low generated across the Plains due to these dynamics will ride east-northeast and strengthen. This strong surface low will bring Arctic Air into the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest on Thursday night, and last for a few days.
