As the numbers of people having their lives ruined by drought and fire, the numbers supporting government action on global warming increases. Hot, dry weather has led to wildfires up the West Coast, from California to British Columbia where there over 24 major fires threaten lives and homes. This pattern is occurring earlier and earlier each year, and lasting longer, according to scientists.
