Georgia Deputy Tries To Shoot Dog, Hits 10-Year-Old Instead (Video)

(N.Morgan) In another stellar move by the police in Georgia, a deputy was trying to shoot a dog, he claimed was charging him and instead, ended up shooting a 10 year old boy in the leg. The boy will not require surgery. Here's what happened: Coffee County Sheriff Doyle Wooten confirmed that the boy, identified as Dakota Corbitt, was shot. Corbitt was taken to Savannah Memorial Hospital for surgery, but his mother said further examination revealed the bullet did not damage any major arteries.
