In a move that could soon send shivers up the spines of Europeans, Vladimir Putin has unleashed a titanic economic blast at Ukraine by warning them to pay up now or we're cutting off the gas taps. With gas to the European Union flowing through the Ukraine as shown in the map below, Putin shutting off the gas taps to the Ukraine will have a crippling effect upon Europe as well as Putin's latest chess move would allow him to strike two birds with one stone.
