Right next to Yellowstone National Park where there have been hundreds of clusters of earthquakes and lifting of the crust where the caldera is - and much helium4 is being leaked from underground areas- now a major landslide is devouring the earth in the town of Jackson, Wyoming. Over the past two weeks, a piece of East Gros Ventre Butte has slowly collapsed toward the west side of Jackson — shearing one hillside home in half, threatening to devour several others and looming ever more ominously over businesses below. The ongoing mountainside is now blocked off and may just give way. Utility workers were planning to try to re-route a section of a city water main threatened by the slide, which could spill millions of gallons of water onto the highway that serves as Jackson's primary north-south artery.
