As reported August 22, 2013 here on BIN via French newspaper Le Figaro, American forces have already been working close to the Syrian border since mid-August. Other news sources have reported their presence in Jordan since at least June 2013. There is no coincidence between the timing of their presence and the sarin gas operation that was launched by "somebody" in Ghouta on August 21.
