Chevron Texaco contaminated over 2 million hectares of Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest between 1972 and 1990. Ecuador wants them to pay to clean up the mess. The Ecuadorian court awarded Ecuador $19bn. This has been going on for over 2 decades.
