36-year old Nelson Torres was convinced that he could talk a couple of teenage girls into having sex with him by offering them the opportunity to become a member of a secretive group called the 'illuminati'. That offer to the teenage girls backfired on Torres after he was arrested and since convicted of both felony and misdemeanor sex crimes after the girls didn't think too kindly of his offer. A teenage girl who Torres knew told police that he propositioned her in December by telling her about a secret group they could join and earn points by performing tasks, according to court documents filed by prosecutors in the case. Torres told the girl that it wasn’t illegal, but that she “would have to go out of her comfort zone” in order to get points, which would lead to them getting more money.
