Obama Boasts ‘We’re Five Days Away From Finishing The Job’

Originally published on LonelyConservative.com

President Obama has been hard at work this week out there selling Obamacare, a law that is still wildly unpopular. He’s not negotiating with Congress over the debt ceiling, or funding the government, or anything else. He’s just campaigning, boasting and vilifying his opponents. He even took another swipe at Fox News.

At a forum in Maryland he proclaimed “We’re five days away from finishing the job.” He should have said “We’re five days away from finishing off America as we knew it.”

So, the reason is reforming health care is going to help the economy over the long term. Not only will it help lower costs for businesses, not only will it help families, it will free up entrepreneurship in this country because if you’ve got a great idea for your own business, but you’ve never tried it because your spouse had a pre-existing condition and you didn’t want to lose your employer-based coverage, you’ve got the ability now to get your own coverage. That’s security. That’s freedom. So, we’re now only five days away from finishing the job. Five days.

How many people are going to be able to start their own business in this economy? This guy is delusional. Speaking of delusional, Nancy Pelosi said “None of us should be negotiating the debt ceiling. It should just be lifted.” Someone ought to tell her that 61% of Americans disagree. But then again, she didn’t give a hoot what the majority of Americans thought when she rammed Obamacare through the House.
