We will never know if JFK was fully aware of the whole truth behind his government's power, but his actions belied it.
Since the end of the Cold War, every United States administration – from Eisenhower's to Obama's, has quite deliberately kept “the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth” away from us in the name of national security, away from the courtroom of public opinion, the courtroom from whence their votes come and in whose name those administrations have been administering a Permanent War Economy.
All “in order to prevent another Great Depression” but in fact a policy of economic enrichment for the members of the Military-industrial Complex.

It would appear today that not only is the Obama Administration aware of that power and is in its grip, but has become what Kennedy called a Secret Society itself, seemingly operating fully under NSA-style dictates, ‘classifying’ everything including facts and figures concerning the most recent edging-up to WW3, the Syrian chemical attack, of which there is still no proof as to who was responsible.
But “the truth” is there: Obama's 'Red Line' was crossed. But whether the whole truth will tell us whether it was crossed by Assad, the rebels, the CIA or Mossad matters not, for by not acting, Obama's credibility with the military is seriously damaged as was Kennedy's by acting.
Since the adaptation of the Permanent War Economy no American president has felt the need to act under the Constitution's enshrinement of America's first Rule of Engagement: Ask Congress for permission. Yet Obama, buys time by doing so.
On Thursday last week Republican congressman Alan Grayson asked the House Intelligence Committee staff whether there was any other documentation available, classified or unclassified on the Syrian chemical attack. Their answer was “no”.
Grayson went on to point out that the Syria chemical weapons summaries are based on several hundred underlying elements of intelligence information. The unclassified summary cites intercepted telephone calls, “social media” postings and the like, but not one of these is actually quoted or attached — not even clips from YouTube.
Grayson, in a recent New York Times op-ed piece wrote, “We have reached the point where the classified information system prevents even trusted members of Congress, who have security clearances, from learning essential facts, and then inhibits them from discussing and debating what they do know.”
The Truth, the Whole Truth...?
You are paying for it. With another depression this never-ending war did not prevent.

Great catch by Truthstream Media, who shows in the video below that NBC originally headlined an article with "Syria: US strikes would help those who 'blew up World Trade Center," but when they clicked that search headline, the NBC piece it brought them to had the headline "Obama on Russia's Syria Weapons Proposal: 'Take it with a grain of salt'."
