“Armed Citizen Project” Encourages Florida Residents to Pick Up Free Shotguns

Group aims to help citizens help themselves Adan SalazarInfowars.comSept. 25, 2013 A coalition of Second Amendment enthusiasts are empowering citizens of an Orlando neighborhood to better protect their homes by recommending free shotguns along with a firearms training course. Group hopes to deter criminals by arming residents. According to WESH, the Armed Citizen Project went door-to-door this past weekend passing out flyers that encourage homeowners to take a gun-safety course, after which they have the opportunity to pick up shotguns at little to no cost. As WESH explains, the Armed Citizen Project works with gun manufacturers and dealers to get free or discounted shotguns that are then passed on to homeowners. The group facilitates the transfer of shotguns to those interested in having the lawful means to defend themselves, their families and their homes against potentially violent intruders. The project’s website states it is “dedicated to facilitating the arming of law abiding citizens, and analyzing the relationship between increased firearm availability and rates.” We are choosing mid-high crime neighborhoods in cities across America, and offering defensive weapons to citizens that can pass a background check, and that will take our safety, legal, and tactical training.
