Alternative Syria Bill Released To Replace Obama War Bill

A preliminary draft of what the United States Congress could pass this week, if sincerely interested in human rights, international norms, the rule of law, and peace in Syria, has been released to the public Saturday morning, to send to respective Congresspersons as an alternative to Obama's war plan against Syria . David Swanson, one of America's leading human rights defenders, drafted an alternative bill for Congress regarding Syria. "You are welcome to suggest it to your Congress members," Swanson said, adding, that they are "more than welcome to tinker with it." Swanson suggested, "You might also share it with any friends or uncles or neighbors who demand to know: "If you're against missile strikes then what are you in favor of?" Non-Lethal Aid to Syria Joint Resolution No Military Solution Sec. 1 a) The Congress does not authorize military action or support of military action in Syria, and such action by the Central Intelligence Agency and any other agencies of the United States must cease immediately.
