Volcanism Now At Unprecedented Levels! Why? (Video)

By Susan Duclos Scientists have been quietly speculating on the unprecedented levels of volcanic activity and according to the video below the obvious answer is the one overlooked. Graphs, maps are shown, which when looked at together, do show a level of activity that is getting worse as the eruptions become larger. In December 2012 it was reported that an unprecedented flurry of earthquakes were linked to widespread volcanoes activity. Other recent activity includes Japan's Mount Sakurajima saw it's 500th eruption this year, but it was the largest seen in decades.
