University Of Washington Police Stop Heavily Armed Man Near Campus

Police thwarted a possible attack near the University of Washington area in Seattle. An unnamed 21-year-old Nevada man was arrested with guns, explosives, and body armor in his possession. The Seattle attack suspect is reportedly not cooperating with police officers. Breaking news reports indicate the man had been camping on or near the University of Washington campus and has no ties to the area.
If preliminary news reports are accurate, the man may have been planning an attack somewhere in Seattle and might have been considering using homemade bombs, though police are stating they have not determined his intentions.
