Serifos wildfires: residents & tourists jumped in the water



The flames started to lick the first houses in the settlements Megalo Livadi and Koutalas on the island of Serifos, one of the Cyclades islands group. The fire survived also Saturday and threatened homes in the two above mentioned settlements. three buildings and a house fell victim to the wild fire.“It was the worst fire ever on the island,” some redients said.Meanwhile the fire is under control.
