Mysterious Hum Driving People Across The Globe Crazy (Video)



By Susan Duclos A low pitched sound, called the "Hum" is slowly driving people crazy across the globe, reported in Taos, N.M.; Bristol, England; and Largs, Scotland. The mysterious sound usually is heard by people who are ages 55 to 70, according to a 2003 study, and an approximate two percent of the population living in a "Hum" zone can hear it. People who hear the "hum" are called "hearers" or "hummers" and say the sound is like a diesel engine idling nearby and is driving them crazy. Katie Jacques of Leeds, England describes her reaction to the near constant sound by stating "It's a kind of torture; sometimes, you just want to scream." She continues on to say ""It's worst at night.
